Billinge St Aidan’s CE Primary School is a thriving, caring and loving school with a calm, happy and secure environment where all of our amazing children are given the opportunity to shine. The Art strand of our Beacon Curriculum has been designed to inspire pupils and develop their confidence to experiment and create their own unique works of art. In these pieces, our Year 5 children were encouraged to combine words and poetry with tissue paper, tracing paper and card to create truly personalised portraits. Children were given one clear instruction before they created these pieces: "Let your light shine."

Our expert judging panel select the top three artworks from each school in March.
Then you can Vote online for your favourite shortlisted piece in April. The shortlisted entry from each school with the most votes wins a place in the public exhibition in June.
