At Dovedale Primary school we strive to give all pupils the opportunity to be creative. This year, due to school closures and home learning, we took a different approach to producing artwork for the competition. We opened it up to all Year 5 students and rather than basing it on a theme or a specific artist study, we asked children to develop a piece of artwork that they were proud of, that was an expression of feeling or a reflection of the world as they see it. We have never been more proud of our artists in Year 5.

Our expert judging panel select the top three artworks from each school in March.
Then you can Vote online for your favourite shortlisted piece in March/April. The shortlisted entry from each school with the most votes (marked with a 1st place gold cup) wins a place in the public exhibition in June.
