Now proud to be part of the Lydiate Learning Trust family, Knotty Ash is a warm and welcoming one-form entry school. We are a Flagship School for Inclusion where children of all abilities learn together, respecting differences and celebrating diversity. Our motto is ‘Loving Learning Together’ and creativity is at the heart of our Inclusive Curriculum. During their Black History studies, Year 5 explored the bronze sculptural forms of the ancient Kingdom of Benin before celebrating inspirational people of more recent times. Children were inspired to create muted paintings and striking monoprints using a variety of media including charcoal, watercolour, marker pen and tissue paper.

Then you can Vote online for your favourite shortlisted piece in March/April. The shortlisted entry from each school with the most votes (marked with a 1st place gold cup) wins a place in the public exhibition in June.
