Monksdown Primary is a large primary school in the heart of Norris Green. We strive to develop confident young people with active and creative minds who have compassion and understanding for others. We have a strong focus on the arts within our school and truly believe in the power of creativity to empower and engage children. The Year 5 children have been studying space within their topic and were inspired by Peter Thorpe to create mixed media pieces of space art.

Our expert judging panel select the top three artworks from each school in March.
Then you can Vote online for your favourite shortlisted piece in March/April. The shortlisted entry from each school with the most votes (marked with a 1st place gold cup) wins a place in the public exhibition in June.
