St Francis de Sales seeks to inspire, engage and challenge pupils by equipping them with the knowledge and skills to appreciate, experiment and create their own works of art. The artwork selected by our pupils for this competition showcases a vibrant mix of creativity and skill, drawing inspiration from their learning of the colourful and unique style of Friedensreich Hundertwasser. Many pieces reflect his use of bold lines, organic shapes, and bright colours, which the students explored in depth during their lessons. Additionally, the collection includes a variety of works created in Art Club, where students had the freedom to experiment with different media and techniques, resulting in a diverse and dynamic display of artistic talent.
