It is an honour and privilege to introduce myself as Headteacher of this vibrant, charismatic, and ambitious academy. The Academy of St. Nicholas is a unique joint Catholic and Church of England academy at the heart of our local community and we are proud to be part of the All Saints Multi Academy Trust. We are blessed with state-of-the-art facilities which enable us to illuminate all aspects of education to the young people we serve. Our staff are fully committed to our mission of ensuring that all students ‘flourish and thrive’ throughout and beyond school life. We work relentlessly for our students to provide an inclusive, engaging, progressive and relevant curriculum for all which will enable our young people to achieve their full potential. We promote the very best teaching and learning practices and have the highest aspirations for our students, celebrating their achievement and recognising their successes as often as we can. We strive to create a positive, stimulating environment where everyone is supported, empowered, and challenged. Whenever possible, we provide opportunities for our students to enhance their learning experiences beyond the classroom walls with an extensive co-curricular offer, a diverse range of trips and experiences in addition to projects with external and community partners such as Everton in the Community. Whilst we support all our students in maximising their academic potential, we understand the importance of personal and character development. It is essential that our young people are equipped with the skills, competencies, and emotional resilience that they will need in school and beyond.
