Weatherhead is an 11-18 girls’ comprehensive school with nearly 1,600 students on roll including a mixed Sixth Form. The learning and well-being of our students is at the centre of everything we do. We have an ethos of hard-work, aspiration and success delivered in a supportive and encouraging environment where students thrive and are happy. Weatherhead holds the World Class Schools Quality Mark (WCSQM). For their entries Year 9 students produced mixed media works using paint, ink, pen and coloured pencil. They looked at the artist Helen Wells and drew inspiration from different plant forms, creating layered work reminiscent of underwater worlds and spring meadows.
