How It Works
We know that you may not have the time to search for reliable, professional and talented artists to work with your school. We have done the hard work for you and put together a range of one day, hands on sessions for your pupils to get creative. If you don’t see what you are looking for below, or would like a tailored session for a particular topic, activity or event, please get in touch - we are happy to help!
dot-art Schools can also offer artist led INSET sessions for teachers and staff. Please get in touch for more details.
Faith is a professional sculptor with a studio in Liverpool. She is a qualified art teacher with a PGCE Secondary Art & Design from Liverpool John Moores University, so understands the principles of how students learn, classroom management and the demands of the national curriculum. She works regularly with schools across the North West devising and leading short, one day workshops through to longer residencies. She develops 3D sculpture projects suitable for Key Stage 1, 2, 3 and also offers INSET sessions.
The simple construction techniques she has developed working with recycled materials such as newspaper, wire, cardboard and tape enable children and young people of varying abilities to create successful sculptures quickly, either individually or in groups. Faith has particular experience of, and an interest in working with students with emotional and behavioural challenges, learning difficulties and sensory impairments, as they usually excel and achieve incredible results participating in her workshops.
